Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Waqrapukara

Our full-day tour begins early with a three-hour journey in tourist transportation to the village of Santa Lucía. Along the way, we’ll stop in Cusipata for breakfast before continuing our trip.
In Santa Lucía, we’ll take a detour for an additional 15-minute drive along a winding road to reach our starting point. We’ll prepare for about 10 minutes before beginning our ascent to Waqrapukara, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, our guide will explain the significance of this archaeological complex, after which you’ll have free time to explore and take photos.
Finally, we’ll return to Cusipata, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits to recharge our energy before heading back to Cusco.
