Day 1: Super Sacred Valley VIP

      • We begin in the morning with hotel pickup, then head towards Chinchero, our first stop where we will learn about the process of making Andean textiles entirely by hand using ancient techniques passed down from generation to generation, and also visit its archaeological complex.
      • We will continue with a visit to Moray, an Inca agricultural research center where different crop experiments were carried out thanks to its impressive circular terraces; afterwards, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines with more than 3,000 pools of various sizes and dimensions, fed by salty waters that emerge from the mountain’s subsoil. Today, this salt is used in gourmet cuisine.

Next, we will continue with a visit to Ollantaytambo, a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center that still impresses with its stone terraces and imposing constructions over four meters high.
