Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Colca Canyon

Our full-day tour begins with a drive to Chivay, then we head to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, an hour away, where we can observe the stunning Colca Canyon and the flight of the condors. We will have ample time at this viewpoint to appreciate the beauty of the landscape.
On the way back, we will stop at various viewpoints in the area, where you can see the terraced fields of the valley, as well as in the village of Maca. If desired, we will enjoy a relaxing soak in the Yanque Hot Springs, with temperatures ranging from 35°C to 38°C. Afterwards, we will have lunch in Chivay. We will then begin our return to Arequipa, stopping at the Volcanoes viewpoint, the highest point of the journey, from where you can appreciate much of the Western mountain range.
As we pass by the snow-capped Chachani toward Pampa Cañahuas, we will see the habitat of vicuñas that live in this area. Finally, we arrive in Arequipa.
