Description of the Machu Picchu Tour

The one-day Machu Picchu tour allows you to discover one of the most impressive destinations on the planet in a complete and well-organized experience. The day begins with a train ride to Aguas Calientes, surrounded by Andean and jungle landscapes that set the perfect prelude to the Inca citadel. From there, you’ll board a bus that takes you up to the Llaqta of Machu Picchu, where our specialized guide will accompany you on a tour that reveals the history, architecture, and mysteries of this sanctuary.

After the guided visit, you’ll have free time to take photos, enjoy the energy of the place, and later return to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where your transport will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.

Day 1

Day 1: Visit to Machu Picchu

Our full-day tour begins with hotel pickup, followed by transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you’ll board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes).
Upon arrival, we’ll head to the buses that take us up to the Llaqta of Machu Picchu, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour to admire its impressive architecture, learn about its history, enigmas, and significance, take incredible photos, and soak up all the energy of Machu Picchu.
After this unique visit, you’ll have time to rest before returning to Aguas Calientes and finally boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo, where your transport will be waiting to return you to Cusco.
