Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Sillustani Chullpas

Our tour begins with a scenic 40-minute drive to the stunning Chullpas of Sillustani. Upon arrival at the Sillustani complex, we will start a pleasant 40-minute walk with our guide, who will immerse us in the history and significance of the various chullpas, which date back to pre-Incan and Incan times. These funerary structures vary in shape and height, with some reaching up to 12 meters, serving as burial towers for religious leaders’ predecessors.
During our walk, we’ll reach a strategic viewpoint where we can admire the breathtaking beauty of Umayo Lagoon, which majestically surrounds the chullpas. This setting provides a perfect opportunity to capture stunning photographs and appreciate the serenity of the surrounding nature.
Finally, we will return to our comfortable transportation for the drive back to the city of Puno.
